Not only is the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City

Not only is the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City one of the best but the restaurant also has great food.

1) Chapulines tacos (grasshoppers tacos) - liked it more than I thought
2) Guarana de Maguey tacos (worms tacos) was my least favorite
3) Octopus tacos
4) Cochinita Pibil (Mayan dish made from pork, black beans and habanero hot sauce) - absolutely delicious and perfectly spiced

National museum of Anthropology was one of the best museums I've visited. We spent an entire day there and felt like it wasn't enough. We could've spent a few days there easily. There's so much to see.

The entire Mexico trip plan was to walk until we got hungry, eat, and then walk off the food we just ate.

The spicy salsa brings the flavors together so perfectly. When they say spicy in Mexico, they do mean spicy but always flavorful, unlike Mexican food in the USA. When they say spicy its either not spicy at all or extremely spicy just for the sake of being spicy without any flavor.

This chicken and cheese quesadilla was only about $1.50 USD.

One of our first meals in Mexico City was at Azul Condessa and it was delicious. I have to say, my favorite was Escamoles, the Mexican Cavier (5th pic) which is small white ant eggs. I was a little nervous but also curious. I ended up liking it a lot. It was served with guacamole and corn tortillas so we could make tacos. So delicious 😋

We visited a textile shop in Oaxaca. They use traditional methods and natural dyes to make their products. It was very cool to learn about the process but my favorite part was how they use plants, seeds, and other natural things to Mahe dyes. Very cool.

Even the hamburger from a random street stall is so good. It's better than any burger I've had in America. Food is just delicious in Mexico. You don't need to look up Yelp or Google reviews. Just eat wherever you want and know that it'll be a great meal.
