Diaguitas and Aba Pisquera
We couldn’t leave Chile without visiting a pisco distillery. We also had a chance to visit a small village called Diaguitas.
Always planning my next vacation
Three weeks exploring Chile from Patagonia to Atacama Desert
We couldn’t leave Chile without visiting a pisco distillery. We also had a chance to visit a small village called Diaguitas.
We explored Vicuna during day time and visited Alfa Aldea observatory at night.
Our first day in Elqui Valley was absolutely perfect. Private tour of a garden, fortified wine tasting, our first observatory tour, and an amazing anniversary dinner.
Elqui Valley, Atacama Desert is very one of the best places for astronomy.
Our last day in Patagonia was fun. We finally got to see the famous towers as we left the park. Thanks to Chile Tour Patagonia for making this one of the most memorable vacations.
Spent the day driving around and exploring Torres Del Paine Park. Saw hundreds of guanacos,, a few condors, and more.
Day 2 in Torres Del Paine was PERFECT! Chile Tours Patagonia did an excellent job planning our day to Grey Glacier.
Base of the Towers hike in winter was fun and challenging but we’re glad we had a local guide helping us navigate. Chile Tour Patagonia was absolutely amazing in planning and organizing everything.
Getting to Torres Del Paine in winter takes a long time but totally worth it. The park is spectacularly beautiful.
My personal favorites in San Pedro de Atacama.
Driving along Route 27 from San Pedro de Atacama was surprisingly beautiful and fun. It wasn’t something I planned but it ended up being one of the best things we did.
El Tatio Geyser is the third largest geyser in the world. I’m not a morning person but waking up before dawn was totally worth it to see the geysers at their best.
Rainbow Valley was a little hard to find but its definitely worth a trip. And if you aren’t too scared, go on a short road trip to Rio Grande.
Short stop at Tulor archaeological site before spending half a day at Valley of the Moon. To me it looked more like Mars than Moon.
Second day in San Pedro de Atacama was all about easily accessible destinations while getting adjusted to the altitude.
