West Iceland is beautiful and that’s where the sun actually set at midnight. Snaefellsnes peninsula offers a lot more hiking and other things to do.

Puffin and Friends exhibit was a great way to spend a few hours in North Iceland when weather is bad. Petting the horses at our Airbnb Farm was cool.

visiting a glacier ice cave that’s on top of an active volcano was a very unique experience. Myrdalsjokull glacier was so different than expected.

We spent the day on Westman Island hiking and puffin watching. We also hiked a mountain that’s only 46 years old. It was created during a volcanic eruption in 1973.

We drove the Golden Circle in one day after a red eye flight. It was tiring but worth it. It’s so easy to lose track of time when it literally doesn’t get dark at night.
