Driving along Route 27 from San Pedro de Atacama was surprisingly beautiful and fun. It wasn’t something I planned but it ended up being one of the best things we did.
El Tatio Geyser is the third largest geyser in the world. I’m not a morning person but waking up before dawn was totally worth it to see the geysers at their best.
Rainbow Valley was a little hard to find but its definitely worth a trip. And if you aren’t too scared, go on a short road trip to Rio Grande.
Short stop at Tulor archaeological site before spending half a day at Valley of the Moon. To me it looked more like Mars than Moon.
Second day in San Pedro de Atacama was all about easily accessible destinations while getting adjusted to the altitude.
First day in San Pedro de Atacama didn’t go as planned but it was amazing. I’ve never seen so many stars in the sky.

Hiking along the Hudson offers different views all along. We walked across GW bridge and then hiked the Fort Lee Historic Park.
